I completed a BA in Art History at Melbourne University then I travelled. I took an SLR camera with me, and as I didn’t know how to use it, on my return 18 months later I did a short course in photography. I started at RMIT the following year. After completing a BA in commercial photography I thought I’d better get a job… assisting for about two years then started my own business and have been working freelance ever since.

I do love portraiture and people and old photographic processes. Since I have had children I have been shooting more landscapes- to catch a moment or two of solitude and beauty here and there. 

My favorite cameras are my Linhoff 5 x4 field camera and my Mamiya c330 twin lens. Both film cameras…
